Brigham Young University of Idaho -Comm316 trip

July 18, 2017

I have been teaching at BYU-Idaho this past year. I have grown alot, and learned alot, and taught alot. I was honored to accompany the Comm 316 on a few of their excursions. I went to Victor, Idaho as a chaperone for their big photography trip where they learned alot of skills. From portraiture, to product, to macro, and landscape….. Lots of learning on that trip. I always help where I can, but mainly in the portraiture areas, as that is my niche.

Here is Caryn Esplin capturing her students taking photo’s.

They also have a fashion/portrait day a little later on in the semester. I helped in planning and executing stylized fashion shoots with Gerardo Sumano. Great guy. If you have a chance go see his work! He helped alot with dressing the models and stylizing the lighting equipment. I helped with instruction on posing and camera work as well as helping stylizing the shoots.

Here are a few images showing my stylized wedding shoot.

Let me tell you about this tux, and that dress. Harts Tux and Gown is responsible for this beautiful pairing. I met with them and we discussed the venue, which was at The Venue in Rigby. We picked a color scheme that would best fit the models. Ladies and Gentlemen, if you ever need help with any formal attire, Harts will be your best option in Idaho Falls. They are so great with finding the best fit for you, without stressing you out. I highly recommend them.

The floral arrangements are by Floral Art in Idaho Falls. They are so great! Micha put together this beautiful bouquet fit for a queen! Again, I highly recommend Floral Art.

These next images are from models from other station, as there were 9-10 stations.
